Animal rescue is a team effort and involves a large number of people and organizations. Most of the very hard work is done by intake, rehabilitation, foster and adoption organizations. We at Let the Fur Fly recognize our part of the equation in bridging the physical gap between many of these organizations. This is a list of some of these organizations we have assisted in the past and we believe are deserving of your support.

The mission of Best Friends Animal Society is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets®.

We do this by helping end the killing in America's animal shelters through building community programs and partnerships all across thenation. We believe that by working together we can Save Them All.

Cavalier Connection rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes Cavalier King Charles Spaniels through a trusted network of loving foster homes acrossArizona. With your help, we provide medical care, training, and the stability each dog needs to heal and thrive.

Turquoise Paw exists with the mission to rescue animals within the borders of the Navajo Nation to support efforts in population controland education, and most importantly, to provide the humane choice of no kill sheltering.

Venturing Pack Rescue

is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in California (EIN: 33-2787032). We are committed to saving animals of allbreeds from overcrowded shelters, with a focus on dogs who have been overlooked and have endured the longest shelter stays.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these deserving animals—preparing them for successful futures through training, medical care,and loving support.

Southwest Oasis Labrador Rescue

In April 2019, a small group of volunteers founded Southwest Oasis Labrador Rescue (SOLR) with the goal of saving dogs where the need wasgreatest – in New Mexico, Texas, Utah, California, Arizona, and across the border in Mexico. Today, SOLR is thriving. We have over 150 memberswho help us rescue dogs in need.

The Humane Society of Central Arizona serves the communities of Pine, Strawberry, Whispering Pines, Fossil Creek, Rye, Gisela, Star Valley, Christopher Creek, Forest Lakes, Round Valley,Oxbow Estates, Young and more. We also collaborate with animal rescue organizations throughout Arizona and beyond to bring animalstogether with lost families and to place animals in the best possible forever homes.

We currently handle more than 1,000 animals per year, but many more must be turned away due to a lack of facilities. Each animal thatcomes to us is evaluated, and when possible, healthy animals are held until adopted. Those animals with special needs that are determinedto be treatable are cared for until an appropriate home is identified. We strive to ensure that only animals that are non-rehabilitative(serious illness/injury or aggressive to humans) are euthanized.

ATR specializes in providing care for pregnant mamas, nursing dogs, and puppies. We rescue these dogs from less-than-ideal circumstances and offer them a safe and comfortable environment to grow and become socialized before helping them find forever homes.

REZ ROADS RESCUE

Yá'át'ééh! We are here to assist Navajo families and their pets, and rescue/foster stray dogs and cats on the Navajo Nationreservation.

Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief & Rescue is a nationwide, 501(c)3 non profit and an all volunteer rescue organization. Werescue Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, we evaluate and treat the dogs for medical conditions, provide fostering and socializingthe dogs until they are adopted into thoroughly vetted homes.

An All-Volunteer 501(C) NON-Profit Rescue located in Lake Powell, Page AZ.

We Work closely with other rescue groups in Arizona and Utah in efforts to save more lives.

Colorado Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal care organization located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.We serve Garfield County, the city of Glenwood Springs, and the Roaring Fork Valley.

Wagging Tails Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs fromhigh-kill shelters and owner surrenders. We are an all-breed rescue with a focus on pregnant dogs and orphaned puppies.Our work is possible due to committed volunteers and foster homes. We provide them with loving temporary homes wherethey stay until they find their forever homes, we do not have a facility. We also promote responsible pet ownership, includingthe importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Operation Kind Heart

To date Operation Kind Heart has rescued and transported 500+ dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from the Navajo Nation tovarious rescues. Operation Kind Heart has also transported 100+ dogs and cats to spay/neuter surgeries where they were fullyvaccinated.
